In the forests of Russia, there lives a bird
Who has feathers of red and gold.
He's a creature, who is brave and true to his word,
And his presence is one to behold.


He has wonderful manners, and his company is great,
And not to mention, his humor is simply divine!
He dines on golden apples on a silver lined plate,
With a cup of some sparkling wine.


While he tends to be humble, his deeds are quite grand
And most certainly worthy of praise.
Such as rescuing Prince Ivan from the dangerous hand
Of King Koschei in the olden days.


And now, don't forget to remember this word:
Be sure to befriend the magnificent fire-bird.
